The Holy Spirit of God

One of the most beautiful literature, I have read, most certainly came from our Our beloved Pope John Paul II. In Marie's mind he is a saint.

A long time ago, Marie was given a little booklet written by the good Pope; the title, she had long forgotten, but the context and the gist of the message never lost its effect and its impact on her, right till this day. It was the call to the faithful to pay heed to the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit among us and Marie remembers distinctly the good Pope mentioned, this as the era of the Holy Spirit and (in Marie's mind and understanding.... that is) , the Holy Spirit of God reigns supreme, in the physical absence of the Lord.. He is the guiding light and the strength who will lead us on...The Holy Spirit is here in place of Christ Jesus, just as He, Jesus had promised; The Lord Jesus, who had arisen and now seats at the right hand of the Father. And He shall come again in full glory. Believe that brethren!

Folks! Brethren! acknowledge and heed the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives, It is the Spirit of our Lord, living on amongst us! Have faith , believe and The Holy Spirit will surely lift us up in everything that we do. The trust and the belief must come from within you! You must want His presence in your life!

The Holy Spirit of the Lord be with you folks! Lift up your hearts and your souls to glorify Him!

Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God for His Love and His Providence. Awake! Brethen and give praise to the Lord God. Be still and listen! The music of God's creations floods the air. Can you hear the chirping of the birds? Nature speaks to us! Let the peace of the early morning, bring peace into our hearts , mind and soul! Open your eyes and your hearts, brethen and see the sparkles of God's presence in every goodness that fills the earth! Give thanks Brethen! Give Thanks!!!Glory and Praise be to the Lord, God Forever!!!

Alleluia, the Lord has Arisen to be with the Father!!

The Lord is my Redeemer and in Him, I place my faith, my trust, my everything, Yaweh! You are my Lord and my God and My soul proclaims immense homage!

People! Did you feel the blessings of the Risen Lord flowing down upon you, upon all of us, as we knelt in prayer and as our voices rise up strong and vibrant in praise of his Glorious ascension? If you feel an overflowing love for God in your heart and a deep sense of reverence on this occasion, People, it is the Holy Spirit upon us, it is the Holy Spirit in our midst, it is the promise of the Lord Jesus -magnifested! And I tell you folks, the Lord God was surely among his people this evening and whatever we asked of Him, it will surely be granted on this very memorial day that He goes to His Father in Heaven.! Alleluia and again I say Alleluia!!!

Sunday 17th May 2009 - 6.30a.m.

It was an awfully sorrowful Alleluia I heard Sunday morning. Mournful, if you know what I mean . Hey people! What gives? Normally, the Alleluia is sung so joyously, that the spirit is uplifted but today……is something else.and today’s gospel reading is about Love, God’s love for all mankind that He sent his only begotten Son that the world may be saved through his atoning sacrifice on the cross for our sins. But,"one day at a time”, was a lovely hymn ,Marie found herself, identifying with each word and again asking God to allow her to take one day at a time. Truly, she does not know if tomorrow will be hers, so why does she fret so much??? Unfinished tasks will take care of itself, if they are not on the agenda God has planned for her.

Did any of you folks read the Herald today??? Marie was inspired by the beautiful words spoken by Pope Benedict after his visit to a monumental new mosque in Amman. He said that “To believe in God is to pray……..to witness the truth and uphold the dignity of every person. Inspiring words indeed!! Sums up the definition of Respect for Others, Love thy neighbour, foundation of peace, nurtured to flourish. Very much the love, commanded by the Lord God.

Fr. Joseph A. Pellegrina, in his article , “Love, the Foundation of Christianity” poses much food for thought…as well -quote “ we have to be careful that we never allow a rule to destroy love.” Indeed!!! Where is love, true love that is, if rules are allowed to overshadow?? If the opinions and pressure of others could sway our love or weaken our resolve to standby our loved ones.? The world is full of shallow people, with many professing love and care but when called upon to actioned their support, lack the conviction and sincerity. I don’t know how many agrees with Marie …how many's conscience let out an oophs! am I one of the guilty ones? … Folks you, we, have been called upon to stand by, be sincere, unwavering and be the mountain behind who we profess to love, our loved ones in times of adversity. True love is never saying, "Sorry, I can't help you because......."True love is actioning...we will walk through these tough terrains together...... A very joyful Allelulia, praise the Lord for the gift of Love!

Showers of Blessings on Mother's Day

The sweetest blessings on Mother's Day initiated by our parish priest ! Special prayers, acknowledgment and a reminder to all sons, daughters and grandchildren to appreciate their mothers and grandmothers on this beautiful day, set aside for all Mothers! We mothers, parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes Klang are indeed blessed .. On behalf of all Mothers, Marie thanks Father John for his prayers and a very touching and meaningful homily on this beautiful Sunday morning.

Let us not forget to praise and thank the Holy Mother of God as well. Hail Mary, Full of Grace, the Lord is with Thee!

The Healing Grace

I called out to the Lord God tonight and He responded. Knowing that the Lord God is closed by myside and that He will never leave me alone., heals me. The Trust and the Faith I placed in my God gathers eternal fruits and love. ..... His Spirit strengthens and leads me on.. Thank you and praise you Lord God....

Marie pays tribute to the Charismatic Prayer Group of OLL and our sister churches. Walking in the footsteps of St Paul is a great Christian march; bringing healing into the lives of people who so need God in their lives is a great act of Love. God Bless your mission People!

LOVE

See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. - 1 John 3:1-2

We are children of God ,People! Have you notice how the Bible emphasised the word "love", the countless times, it appears in all the gospels and the other texts? There is a deep promise that God knows his flock and will never abandon, those He knows and calls his own. Our faith is very much founded on Love, an everlasting legacy....., we are all called to teach and bring the message of peace and love to the world that all may know and see our God as a merciful God; a wonderful God of Love. In Faith, we come to Him and in Faith we shall walk through the passage of life guided by His Footprints left shining upon the face of the earth, that we may see, and never lose our way ; that ultimately, we may in our own ways, add to the glow, and the shine for the glory of our Lord , God.for ever and ever.
